FRÖMAG Indexing Tables
are intended for use on FRÖMAG Keyseating machines. They are
used for production of multiple keyways, internal splines
and internal gears with high precision. Manually operated
indexing tables employ either plain indexing with index
plate and latch pin or differential indexing with index
plate and worm gearing. Automatic indexing tables with
automatic clockwise and counterclockwise movement by CNC can
also be supplied.

Frömag indexing tables are built for workpiece bores up to 1.750 mm.
In connection with the Frömag Overarm Support components with a weight up
45 metric tons and lengths up to 2.000 mm can be machined fully automatically.

are always used together with CNC indexing tables, if
large profiles and internal gears can be produced fully automatically.

FRÖMAG Retractable Tooling
Equipment
The tool post, the feed bar and the cutter
holder are lowered hydraulically below the machine table and raised after
the workpiece has been mounted. By means of this arrangement loading and
unloading of large and bulky workpieces is considerably facilitated and
the tooling components are safeguarded against damage.
Particular advantages consist of the ability to carry out measurements
on the clamped workpiece.
